What services do we provide for Transport to Baulkham Hills High school?

We provide school transport services to Baulkham Hills High School. Our two bus routes for 2027 will cover more than 10 suburbs providing a convenient school transport option from Blacktown and Hills District suburbs to Baulkham Hills High School.

Suburbs we cover includes Marsden Park, The Ponds, Schofields, Box Hill, Gables, Castle Hill, Beaumont Hills, Melonba, Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville, North Kellyville, Kellyville Ridge, Rouse Hill and Tallawong.

How does the service function?

Western Sydney Community School Transport (WSCST) act as a co-ordinator. WSCST connect with parents who may find this service useful for their children and we hire the buses (with drivers) from private transport companies. WSCST communicates with parents to complete the enrolment and determine the route & stop locations based on areas where the most enrolments are received from. All enrolled parents collectively contribute to the transportation costs, enabling the association to contract professional bus operators. Designated pick-up and drop-off points are established, allowing students to board the bus in the morning and return in the afternoon.

What are the advantages of utilizing this service?

Direct School Access: Students are transported directly to and from the school gates, eliminating the need for multiple transfers or long walks.

Guaranteed Seating: As a seating-only service, every student is assured a seat, promoting comfort and safety.

Comfortable Environment: Air-conditioned coaches / shuttles provide a conducive atmosphere, allowing students to relax or complete homework during transit.

Cost-Effective: Shared costs among parents make the service an economical alternative to other private transportation methods.

What is the cost, and how is payment handled?

The daily cost per student ranges between $15 and $17 for a round trip. The cost varies depending on number of students. As more students join, the per-child cost decreases. Payment details are provided upon receipt of a completed Expression of Interest (EOI) form and confirmation of seat availability.

How are bus stop locations determined?

Bus stops are selected based on the information provided in the EOI forms, aiming for locations that are convenient for the majority within each suburb. Factors considered include traffic patterns, overall travel time, and safety. Typically, one or two stop per suburb is designated unless a higher concentration of students necessitates additional stops.
